What to Expect  ~ Our Procedures

We have created Websites for a wide variety of organizations and businesses. We take time to work with our customers on an individual basis, learning as much as possible about their business, their customers and their goals. Once a site design is complete, we are also available for continuing maintenance to ensure your website retains a fresh look for returning customers.


The process of the designing starts with choosing the color scheme and the layout style, there are many different options available.  We design to what you want and will help to guide you in the right direction of a successful business website. If you know of a site that is similar to the style you want for yours, then just send us the URL address for it and tell us what features of that site you'd like incorporated into your design.
 

If wishing for other than one of the initial packages or wanting to add features to a package, contact us for a free Quote to get an idea for how much your website will cost. We are able to give you quotes for design, set up and marketing.
 
Once we have agreed to a quoted price or package, then you will need to organize your material clearly.  It will save money and time if you already have the text you wish for your site on disk and images numbered, clearly mark where you would like all of your material placed (e.g.. Document A to appear on the Home page with Pictures 1 and 2). If needing help with the wording, then there is a great service available with Buzzwords who helps to jazz up the wording for you. If your text is on paper that is okay too, just make sure to clearly mark them.
 
Make a list of what email addresses you would like to have, example: admin@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com, etc...
 
Once we have received all of your material and your first payment (50%* of quoted price) we will begin the web design. We will then design a draft home page for your site so you are able to see the initial layout.  We will then upload this page to our website so that you can see what we've done. After you have looked at this page, changes may be made to the design.  You will have two opportunities to change the design (further changes add to the final cost).
 
Once the design has been approved, we will then develop the website.  Typically this can take from one to four weeks depending on the size and also the amount of buttons or image mapping needed.
 
After the website is completed we will upload it to your domain address.  We then require the remaining balance (50% of the quoted price for design plus any extra* costs that arose during the design process) to be paid within 7 days. Once the final payment is received we will change the authorization of the website to be under your name.
 
Once your website has been uploaded to the Internet, we can begin announcing its presence to the world.
 
We submit your website to the top search engines and directories via the submission service.   Submissions can be an ongoing process. The submission service will work but may take up to a month for your submission to be included in the search directory which will still list them highly as we have optimized your page for the best listing available. We will also be checking on the placement of your site so as to continually try to rank it highest.
 
At any time after the website has uploaded to the Internet, you may consider a number of options to market your new website off-line.  Probably the most cost effective way to go about this is by including the web address on your business cards or any advertisements you may do.

Another marketing option to consider is operating your own e-newsletter. This provides a great service for people who want to learn more about your product or service. An e-newsletter can also serve as a medium for advertising your business. This will require the construction of a mailing list on your website, contact us for further details.

There will be ongoing maintenance required for your site, you will need to keep it updated and maximized for the changing occurrences of your business and new web developments. After you have received our Quick Quote, should you wish to proceed with our services? Simply contact us back and let us know, if you are local, we can set-up an appointment to discuss your website's needs, Or email you our Design Questionnaire & Preparation Sheet to get things rolling. From there, fill out the required information on both forms then email them back to us... give us about 3-5 business days and we will email you our Design Agreement, again simply fill out the requested information, then physically send us the signed agreement along with the required deposit, via US Postal Service. Once we have received the agreement and deposit, we will then set-up a private workroom for you to view the creation of your new website (approximately 7-10 business days). From there, after you have seen & approved the completion of your website, we then require the balance of the website balance to be paid in full, we will then release/send-out your new website on a CD, or upload/publish it to your server/hosting company for you, at no extra cost...
